Barolo Fossati Enzo Boglietti 2016. Alcohol content: 14,5% vol. 100% Nebbiolo grapes.  The wine remains in barriques for 15 months, 15 months in large casks and 8 months in bottle. The colour is deep ruby red, with light garnet nuances. Very dense. Intriguing scent of spices (pepper, licorice), coffee, cassis, blackberry, plum jam, tobacco, hints of violet, cherry, raspberry, alpine herbs and juniper. The taste is full and vigorous, but at the same time enjoyable and balanced. With velvety tannins and excellent flavour. Long finish with balsamic and fruity notes. It will give great satisfaction in the coming years. With seasoned Castelmagno cheese from alpine pasture or fur game stew.
